The Occupational Certificate: Project Manager is designed for professionals who want to lead projects with confidence, structure, and real-world impact. This qualification equips you with the practical skills, applied knowledge, and workplace experience needed to manage projects from initiation through to successful delivery and close-out.

At The DaVinci Institute, we focus on applied, work-integrated learning. This programme develops your ability to plan, execute, monitor, and control projects in complex organisational environments, preparing you to deliver results across industries such as business transformation,Technology Management (and Innovation) construction, operations, marketing, and development projects.

You will graduate with a strong, end-to-end project management capability aligned to international best practice, including PMBOK and PRINCE2 principles.


  • You will develop the capability to:
  • Initiate a project to address specific project objectives.
  • Plan and prepare the delivery of a project.
  • Execute and control the delivery of a project management plan.
  • Manage the project close out process.

This is a fully integrated occupational qualification consisting of:

  • Knowledge Modules (Project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, risk, procurement, stakeholders and more)
  • Practical Skills Modules (Planning, scheduling, costing, controlling, reporting, and delivery management)
  • Workplace Experience Modules (Applied learning in real project environments)
  • All components are compulsory and designed to build complete, work-ready project management competence.

Entry Requirements

  • An NQF Level 4 with Mathematical Literacy and Communication. 
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will be considered for experienced professionals who do not meet the formal entry requirements.
