What makes DaVinci different from a public university?

Public universities are funded mainly by the government, while private higher education institutions are funded through tuition fees and other private income streams. However, both public and private higher education institutions must operate within South Africa’s higher education regulatory system.

This is important because the value of a qualification does not depend only on whether the institution is public or private. It also depends on whether the qualification is properly accredited, registered and aligned to the National Qualifications Framework.
