TThe Higher Occupational Certificate: Human Resource Management Administrator is designed for professionals who want to build a strong career in HR administration and people operations. This qualification equips you with specialised knowledge, practical skills, and workplace experience in HR systems, labour legislation, payroll support, and organisational compliance.


 At The DaVinci Institute, we focus on applied, work-integrated learning. This programme develops your ability to support HR processes, manage employee information, and contribute to effective people management in complex organisational environments.
 You will graduate as a competent HR administrator, ready to support organisational performance and compliance.


You will develop the capability to:

  • Collect Human Resources data and process the data into appropriate information that is available for decision-making.
  • Select and use appropriate methods, techniques, and procedures to provide professional administrative services for the full range of HRM processes and activities.
  • Monitor, support and maintain the various communication and administrative processes with relevant stakeholders to optimise the employment relations in the organisation.
  •  Access and use appropriate HRM systems and processes for the compilation, maintenance and safeguarding of all HRM records.

This is a fully integrated occupational qualification consisting of:

  • Knowledge Modules (HR administration, labour legislation, payroll, compliance, people processes)
  • Practical Skills Modules (HR systems administration, documentation, reporting and coordination)
  • Workplace Experience Modules (Applied learning in real HR and organisational environments)
  • All components are compulsory and designed to build complete, work-ready project management competence.

Entry Requirements

  • An NQF Level 4 qualification with English Communication.
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will be considered for experienced professionals who do not meet the formal entry requirements.
